Troubleshooting Guide
Solutions for common issues and maintenance tips
Charging Problems
AC Recharging Fails
Problem: Unit does not charge when plugged into wall outlet
Solution:
- Check that main switch is in ON position
- Verify wall outlet is working with another device
- Ensure AC power cord is securely connected
- Check for damaged power cord
- If problem persists, contact the installation company
Solar Charging Issues
Problem: Solar panel not charging the unit
Solution:
- Verify solar panel voltage is within 10-60V range
- Check solar panel connections are secure
- Ensure solar panels are receiving adequate sunlight
- Verify solar charge controller is functioning
- Check for damaged solar cables
Power Output Problems
No Power Output
Problem: Connected devices not receiving power
Solution:
- Check that main power switch is ON
- Verify battery level is above 43 volts
- Check that device power requirements don't exceed 3500W
- Ensure connections are secure
- Try a different outlet or USB port
USB Devices Not Charging
Problem: USB devices not charging or powering on
Solution:
- Turn on the power switch
- Try unplugging and plugging the USB cable again
- Check USB cable for damage
- Try a different USB port (USB-A or USB-C)
- Verify device compatibility with output specifications
Battery Performance Issues
Unit Not Working After Long Storage
Problem: Power station won't turn on after extended storage
Cause: Lithium batteries may self-discharge when stored at low capacity
Solution:
- Connect to AC power and attempt to charge
- Leave plugged in for several hours to wake up battery
- If no response, contact customer service
Prevention: Charge to 100% every 2-3 months during storage
Reduced Runtime
Problem: Battery doesn't last as long as expected
Solution:
- Check connected device power consumption
- Verify battery is fully charged (56.9V)
- Consider temperature effects on battery capacity
- Ensure unit is stored properly between uses
Cold Weather Operation
Reduced Performance in Cold
Problem: Battery capacity reduced in cold temperatures
Solution:
- Store the unit in an insulated location when possible
- Keep it connected to a power source - charging generates heat
- Allow unit to warm up before heavy use
- Operate within temperature range: 14°F to 131°F
Note: Cold temperature effects are normal for all lithium batteries. Performance will return to normal as temperature increases.
Emergency Situations
In Case of Damage
If you notice any damage to the unit:
- Immediately turn off the main power switch
- Disconnect all devices and power sources
- Move the device outside the home if safe to do so
- Contact the installation company for removal
- Do not attempt to use or repair a damaged unit
WARNING: Do not open, disassemble, or attempt to service the unit yourself. Risk of explosion if damaged.
