Get up and running with your eMpower device quickly
Getting Started
Initial Setup
To operate, plug into a wall outlet. Turn the main switch to the ON position.
First Charge
Fully charge before use. Plug into the wall and turn the main switch to the ON position.
Ready to Use
eMpower can remain always plugged in or once charged can be stowed by turning the main switch to OFF position.
Charging Your eMpower
AC Grid Power
- • Connect AC power cord to AC Grid Power INPUT port
- • Plug into household AC power socket
- • Battery indicator will flash when charging
- • Fully charged at 100% (56.9 volts)
Solar Panel
- • Connect solar panel to Solar (DC) INPUT port
- • Use compatible 10-60V solar panels
- • Battery indicator will flash when charging
- • Can be sole source for recharging
Powering Your Devices
AC Appliances
- • Connect appliance to AC OUTLET port
- • Turn on the power switch (ON/OFF)
- • Check appliance voltage/power requirements
- • Turn off AC switch when not in use
Supports up to 3500W output
USB Devices
- • Connect USB cable to USB port
- • Turn on the power switch
- • Try unplugging/plugging if device doesn't start
USB-A: 5V/2.1A, USB-C: Up to 12V/1.5A
Emergency Backup Mode
Leave the eMpower plugged in to back up an essential appliance such as a sump pump or freezer. In a power outage, it will turn itself on and keep appliance(s) running. After power is restored, your eMpower will start recharging.
Important: eMpower is fully charged at 56.9 volts. Do not use/run below 43 volts. Your eMpower is equipped to monitor the voltage level.
